When designing landscape spaces for people's homes, there is no more important element than how they like to hang. If you think about it, landscape design is in direct competition for your time with mobile devices, restaurants, movies, television, and the list goes on. By defining the clients aesthetic and by extension, how they best like to "hang," you curate a space that makes them comfortable in their own home. Often times I hear "We don't have a big enough yard." Not true. If anything, it is the larger properties that require defining and the culling of areas to create a more intimate experience, which can be avoided all together with a smaller space to begin with. So I ask, how do you like to hang? By defining your personal aesthetic, you are on your way to achieving your version of paradise and will spend more time in your garden and I would argue time well spent.
